Any decent make or nice Backpacks for laptops nothing too big though.

I really like them, for functionality's sake. They're not massively different to normal backpacks, just with a protective sleeve in the back. That, plus a neoprene sleeve should take care of most drops.

I've had the same Targus CN600 bag for years now (possibly as much as 8 years). Some of the material has faded to a slightly different shade of black / grey (sun bleached I think - it's never been washed unless you count rain) but nothing's falling apart; they're very well made, especially considering how cheap they are.

Agreed. I think mine's coming up to 7 years now, and I paid £12!
