Buying new desktop, need advice
I am wanting to purchase a new desktop. I want to have one of the best gaming desktops for MMOs, specifically ESO :). Anyways i figure I can get a decent one for $2000 or somewhere around that price. I don't know anything about building my own or anything like that, I'd just like to order from someone who makes everything perfect from the getgo and it needs to be user friendly because like I said I don't know much about iner workings or software ect so can anyone offer some suggestions on brands?
Edit: also I'm I'm the US if that matters, also please don't suggest that I build my own because I literally know nothing about that stuff it's all jibberish to me, so is there any company that makes gaming desktops someone would recommend?
Re: Buying new desktop, need advice
If you order the parts (which we can help you out with) NCIX will build it for you for 50$,which is a fair price and is what I'd highly recommend you do.
Re: Buying new desktop, need advice
I know you said not to suggest building your own, but here me out here (or completely ignore this post). I was exactly the same as you a few years ago, learning to build a PC felt so overwhelming, I had no idea what to do and I certainly didn't want to spend a lot of time on the subject but I did my research and asked for help on a few forums and reddit, and soon enough, it became super simple. It's honestly not that hard, and by watching a few YouTube videos and building your self, you can save a lot of money, and maintenance is a lot easier. I would suggest building your own instead of buying one already made, especially if it's for gaming as you can get the exact parts you want.
However, if you don't want to build your own, get the best bang for your buck, a lot of larger companies will charge you silly amounts for parts that cost way less on other sites. Have a good time gaming on your new PC.
Re: Buying new desktop, need advice
If you're willing to learn to build it, its a great experience and helps you understand alot about your PC and how you can upgrade it in the future. In the budget of 2000 i could recommend a GTX 780ti, Corsair Obsidian case, I7 3770k? not too up to date on intel processors. Theres many routes you can take, if you're willing to do the research then building it yourself is a better experience overall

Here are some links of places - I know about if you're looking:
www.originpc.com - Company making awesome gaming Custom PCs/Laptops (USA/ASIA/AUS)
Have a look - you'll get something pretty decent and with great custom options.
Re: Buying new desktop, need advice
You will get so much more for your money if you build your own. You need some patience and common sense. Hint - get a decent ground cord for your wrist and use it!
Re: Buying new desktop, need advice
+1 to build your own. It's never been easier (things only fit in one slot! :P) and with 1000's of videos on YouTube to answer any questions you have.
Its cheaper, it helps you diagnose issues later and do cheaper upgrade as and when you want. Downside of course is if something goes wrong you can't just call <insert company here> to sort it out.
