    hey,
    anyone else got one?

    What do you think?
what have you done to it so far and what are you going to do or get?

I just want some more ram as soon as i get the cash together...and what is it with the fan going into turbo mode whenever i play a game?

I've got one of their older systems, the fan goes into turbo mode whenever you play games because the processor will be being put under more stress to work faster. This makes the heat it generates increase.

Post I need help with my graphics board

    Hello everyone,

I have been trying to get a hold of the peritel cable that goes from the Medion Radeon 9800 XXL to the peritel connector, but it seems that Medion doesn't have that spare part, so I'm emploring a kind soul who might have a Medion Titan 8383 and who is willing to test the connections between the graphics board connector and the peritel connector then sketch out a plan.
    Thanks in advance

One of the biggest problems these PC's have is overheating. I have changed the case, a bigger one, the CPU cooler, I've built in two 120mm papst fans into the case, one on the right side just behind the hard drives orcing air in and one at the back extracting air out I've also fixed a Arctic ATI silencer 3 onto the graphic card. They are the principal changes I've made, and it works fine for me.

The cases Medion uses are too small, the air doesn't circulate easily even if you add extra fans.

It's been nearly two months with this noisy fan and i'm waiting for a call tomorrow with an answer to the "where is my new fan" question i asked in November....
If the reply is bad then i'm off to Aldi for my cash back..
    Lets see?
