Decent laptop for around £500-£700
I'm looking for a laptop to replace my girlfriend's old Dell..... would like to spend around £500-£700. Key features are fast performance, reasonable screen size and quality for vids but it won't be used for games at all....
So far I'm thinking of getting something like this and banging in an SSD:

I suppose I have two questions really:
1) is it easy enough to swap the HDD for an SSD (i.e. clone software, swap drives, reinstall cloned OS)?
2) is there a better way of spending the money to get similar performance.
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated, I don't know a great deal about laptops as I generally try to avoid them like the plague.
***edit - needs to have Office if possible

Actually the model linked is pretty, good, and unless you want to spend out another £120 on an SSD, the SSHD is a great compromise
Swapping out an HDD on a laptop is usually straight forwards, though on some models you need to remove the baseplate
As for spending similar money, unless you're doing heavy word processing or similar office task, consider getting a tablet and a small NAS that can be plugged into your router that's DLNA compatible.
