I'm considering buying a used but not abused hp elitebook 2740p tablet pc with intel i7 620m, 2gb ddr3 and 160gb hdd. Is it worth it for $350?

If you have a requirement that it will meet, then yes it is.

Is it worth that to me, no, because I don't have a need for it.

Value and worth are very subjective assessments (unlike cost )

As for specs, it's a bit lite on storage and memory, but you might be able to upgrade it. If you are concerned about the actual cost, (as opposed to the value to you), you could look through auction sites for similar items.
