    Arrow Building a new system...

Right well i have currently been building a new system for myself mainly for gaming, i have been racking my brains with a big help from Kez to come up with this mahine. Thanks Kez

Here is the pc i hame come up with so far. I have included the items name and a link to where im currently going to purchase it from, inluding a price at the end.

Although it might not be the "Best" gaming machine out there i think it will do me good, and i must also mention i dont want to be going in debt with this thing.

I would very much appreciate it if you could post your views on this machine.

I would say not bad but consider a case without a PSU such as Antec SuperLan boy and get a decent named brand PSU if your using 2 GeForces 6800s in SLi. Tagan 480w would be the perfect choice

Also Maxtors Diamond Max 10 16MB drives are blooming quick and imho a better drive mines dead quiet

I'm building something close to this pc

I'm buidling almost exactly the same system, but i am uncertain as to what type of memory i should use. I currently was going purchase Cosair XMS Model#: TWINX1024-3200C2PT. The only thing is i am coompletely confused as to what makes one 184 pin memory better than another 184pin. any help would be grateful

You will get more replies if you post this in the hardware forum, since this forum is meant for prebuilt systems

But yeh, it looks quite good.

Are you sure that graphic card is a SLi card?

On the site is says NOT SLi Compatible, your going to have to find a card that is SLi compatible, if you want two of them in your comp...

    This is a SLi Card:
