    dell pc

    hi

    what do u folks think about this pc from dell in-laws are about to buy and need my advice. http://www1.euro.dell.com/content/pr...hs1&l=en&s=dhs

    Are there anything much better than this?
    Budget is £550 and not interested in any fancy gadgets.

    I would suggest the dell outlet, they won't need paticulaly high spec systems so buy them a Dell outlet PC, Dimension 3000 Probably (£300) and buy them a 17" TFT. If your lazy here it is:

    Well, it really depends on what you want they want the system for. I'm guessing general use. That one isn't bad (crap graphics but apart from that) although when you click on customise and buy the price jumps. It seems the price may have risen. When clicking on Dell Recomends the cheapest is £569. But yeh, go for it if you don't want to buy build one etc.
