weird Chrome browser problem on wifes laptop

    Morning all,

Wifes laptop wont run Google Chrome web browser. Looking in Tak mgr I can see one of the svchost is running at 150kb, which is unusual, and that svchost links to a Windows Audio process. If I kill the svchost, I lose the wireless connection, but ifg I run troubleshooter is fixes itself, and the svchost is back up to 150k again, and Chrome still wont open

I can access the net via IE but not Chrome. Ive run a virus/malware check which is clear, and Im currently running windows update.

    Any other suggestions please ?
    Cheers, David

Sorry if it's a bit obvious, but have you tried uninstalling Chrome and re-installing it?

OK, after doing all the above, plus updating Windows, it was still playing up, so as my learnéd friend above suggests, I reinstalled Chrome, and bang, sorted !

    I hate computers.
