Can anything beat the Razer blade stealth 13?

Hi,

I'm finally in the market for a new personal laptop, but struggling for options. Mostly as I think what I really want doesn't exist outside of the Razer model mentioned above.

I'm looking for:

13" ish screen
Ice lake i7 CPU
2k or 4k screen, ideally with touch
Discrete graphics, 10 series or better
16gb ram
256g or bigger SSD (pref 512)

The only laptop in the world that I can find that meets this spec, seems to be the Razer stealth 13. The pricing is about right (£2k), but I could spend a bit more if i wanted to....it just puts me off a little as it's Razer, and whilst i love their keyboards....my experience with the rest of the hardware has been mixed at best.

So, are there any other options that meet or come close to the spec above? Particularly with a 13" screen and discrete graphics (and NOT the ancient MX line)

It seems if you move to 15" there are tonnes of great options, but a 15" laptop is simply far too big and heavy for me.

any ideas?

What will you be using it for? Is it for gaming?

MS Surface book 3 has a model in 13.5" with a GTX 1650 if that's any better for you.

Hello! Now laptops are assembled from plus or minus the same components. So, you'd better define for yourself the specific parameters that you want and see the options. An acquaintance of mine (who sells electronics) says that now there is not much difference in whose assembly of Chinese spare parts there is not much. At least HP, at least Asus, at least some other. Everyone is equally prone to breaking. And the more budget model, the less reliable you will get.

Asus and MSI have a few AND 4800HS systems out there for much less. They will out perform the Stealth but also be slightly larger and less good looking.
