My old Scan LG17 Carbon with proper GTX1080 is only marginally slower than a RTX3080 mobile version used in modern laptops, now I know there were 1080 max-q and other "lite" versions of that GPU, so, seeing as it's now 5 years old, I'm contemplating upgrading it and I was wondering were there any 30 series laptops with "real" GPUs rather than the lightweight mobile version in them?
