About LinkBacksDreamhost - They've had problems over the last year or so, but you get massive bandwidth (1.69TB on basic package) and disk space (169GB on basic package) allowances, and these increase weekly.
Very friendly and responsive customer support as well.

I am seriously considering Westhost.com. They offer loads of features at a very cheap price.

evohosting are very impressive. Their support is very good and their speeds are phenominal.
Theres my reccomendation.
Whoever you choose, make sure you do a good google search beforehand... try to find out whether the company has been around very long, how big they are, whether they own their own equipment or are just a reseller of a reseller of a reseller etc.

Another vote for QiQ - good price, good connections and excellent support as well as plenty of tools available for developing your sites.
creativesell seems to be down, maybe it is out of business now?
EvoHosting is great, very reliable and never goes down.
TSO Host is superb value for money if you don't require a lot of bandwidth/disk space. £10 for a year with 5GB a month bandwidth.

In the past I used QiQ for cheap hosting and for UK hosting I have used Webtapestry both have been pretty good.
I have also rented dedicated servers from rackspace and although its quite expensive their service is fantastic.

Looking for a cheap and helpful web host service. My wife is starting up her own business and needs a simple full service host. Speed and size offered are less important than ease of use and price.
Can anyone help with a suggestion ?
