Please can someone spec me a quiet PSU

I've been away from the PC scene a while and I'm building a new system again.

What's the best and quietest 650w/750w PSU out now?

Thanks to all replies in advance!

Noise level wise a corsair AX is gonna be the best but you are going to pay through the roof for one, then fan doesn't actually turn on till 20% load and just runs passive, 20-50% load is 16db then it ramps up from their.

Seasonic X series are meant to be excellent for reliability and noise, otherwise I can vouch for the Corsair HX PSUs, depends on your budget.

From the way people are raving about them it seems that XFX are the new Corsair when it comes to PSUs - to cut a long story short it'll be fine.

After a lot of research I almost got one of these but got seduced by a second hand HX750. Either would do you well for years to come.

XFX do seem to be getting a lot of praise recently. You can't argue with the price coupled with a 5 year warranty.
