Be Quiet Pure Power L8 430W Modular

It looks like a new low wattage modular PUS has been released by Be Quiet:

    http://www.ebuyer.com/283834-be-quie...ular-psu-bn180

    http://www.scan.co.uk/products/430w-...e-power-l8-psu

It is under £50 on Ebuyer. The OEM looks like it could be HEC for the 530W and 630W versions.

Was looking at modular supplies today and didn't notice that

I read a thread on Ebuyer about a Be Quiet RMA - as ebuyer don't (or didn't handle) the RMA themselves, the person had to return the PSU to Germany and wasn't happy at all.

I think Scan handle the RMA themselves so it works out better to buy from Scan just to be on the safe side...

I know Scan does for the whole length of the warranty with some companies, eg corsair, otherwise you have to send the psu to holland if I remember correctly.
Not sure is Scan has the same arrangement with Be Quiet or not, you'd have to ask them.

Ah yes, my trusted HX450W, got to love Corsair and Seasonic for it, the 7 year warranty was a bonus too.

IIRC correctly, at one stage these were selling for around £40 give or take a few quid.

These nice additions as of late to the PSU market make a change, seeing alot more lower wattage PSU's. Unless of course I've missed alot over the last year or so.
