Fanless PSUs

Anyone using a fanless PSU ? If so what is it driving and any issues ?

Honestly, I doubt many of them will be beneficial to you unless you don't use wattage intensive components. Anything more than a 500W build will not be good for fanless.
You should also try and go for the higher efficiency ones such as Seasonic.

Don't forget man that it is down to the environment your PC is in as well. I think its too risky to be honest.

Remember that the PSU will have to be upright and not on its side...

Jimbouk: Thanks I've seen the Tom's hardware review. That's what's made me consider one.

Deludedguy: Not sure what you mean by 'upright', All the PSUs I've looked at are standard ATX types and they only fit one way. (The only differences is that some PSUs deeper from the back plate of the case).

My current system rarely draws more than 240w anyway, so a 460W @ 90%+ efficiency ought to be OK. Most fanless PSUs look to be able to reliably supply 38A on 12v

What I mean is that some cases mount the PSU upside down or on their side (Silverstone SGO3), you need to make sure the case is able to mount the PSU upright so that the heat dissipates correctly.

Interesting read over at Toms but you really shouldn't bother with a fanless psu.
You much rather find quality branded quiet psu, from my experience PSUs don't make much noise.

I have the semi-fanless Superflower Platinum 550W aka Kingwin Lazer Platinum running a gtx670 and a 2600k. No problems here. Don't think the fan has ever started spinning.
