Is there a fault with the current PSU? Or are you upgrading other components that need more power?
If you need a new PSU, afaik any standard size model should fit that case.
well my old one need to be replaced since the fan wasn't spinning on it so i am deciding to upgrade the psu. I was on the phone to Dell once nd they were saying that if i put a new psu in the motherboard wouldn't work anymore or something like that
Is this the motherboard in your computer:

You need to confirm if it uses standard motherboard power connectors.
It seems your case should have enough room for a standard power supply:

I would get this PSU if the motherboard uses standard motherboard power connectors:

I don't have first-hand experience of this, but looking around it seems any standard ATX PSU will do. Dell are always going to try and get you to use their stuff, their services, so they'll tell you nonsense over the phone to this end. Have a look at the current PSU in there, make a note of the wattage and get a new one with similar wattage unless you're upgrading other components.
The motherboard in that link is the same one as mine, i'm looking at this psu http://www.scan.co.uk/products/500w-...-year-warranty
The XFX is better.
I know its better but i'm just trying to do a small upgrade so not really sure which one to get lol #Confused lol
but scan doesn't even have then in stock
Be patient??;)
