Thanks for reply but my ONLY concern was "PSU of 550W would be enough?" where I might add couple of disks to it in future.

Re: Which PSU suits more?
Both PSUs are made by Seasonic but are different ranges IIRC. Are you overclocking the CPU??
I would think that a decent 500W to 600W PSU would be fine IMHO.
Edit!!
The MK2 Silencer is made by Topower and gets good reviews. The MK3 ones are Seasonic.

Yes, I am planning to overclock it atleast to 4.2GHz if not to 4.6GHz!
thanks

Sorry to contradict you on the PC power Silencer MKII ( is made by SIRTEC) see here http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_a...s/Page1418.htm
yes the MKIII is seasonic apart from the 1200w which is made by SUPER FLOWER...
FOR the OP
look at these

These are more than adequate for your needs
:) hope this helps

@c12038: I might be looking at upgrading my PSU soon, so I found your recommended PSUs interesting.
The 650 watt XFX model is made by Seasonic and 8 good reviews and seems well priced for a semi modular PSU
The 750 watt Cooler Master is made by Enhance Electronics and only had one review listed on the Real Hard Tech X website, these quotes are from this group test:
Quote:
After the near-perfect performance of the Chieftec BPS in this test, the Cooler Master GX looks especially bad with its lack of dedicated voltage regulation.
So, the Cooler Master GX 750W is just satisfactory in terms of voltage stability, the only exception being the +5V rail. The PSU would lose the Power OK signal when there was a minimum load of 1 ampere on that rail, therefore we had to carry out our tests at a minimum load of 2 amperes.
The high-frequency voltage ripple is not strong, yet there are occasional voltage spikes above the permissible limits on the +3.3V and +5V rails.
The Cooler Master GX 750W is a rather quiet PSU with acceptable electrical parameters and a rich selection of peripheral power connectors. However, it offers only two graphics card connectors, which doesn’t seem enough for its wattage, and its CPU power cable is too short.
The Cooler Master GX 750W is somewhat inferior to the pair of leaders. It cannot boast modular design and its voltages are not so stable due to the lack of dedicated regulation. It also has too few graphics card connectors for its wattage. On the other hand, it is the quietest PSU in this review, together with the Enermax.
The OCZ ZS 650 watt is made by Sirtec, I've not really had any issues with my OCZ other than the cables being too short and too stiff, with my case design it is not easy routing the cables to my PSU and the fit is quite tight, I think the ZS will be using different cables so hopefully won't suffer from those issues.
be Quiet 600 watt is made by FSP but there were no reviews list on Real Hard Tech X.
I would recommend picking a shortlist of PSUs then checking them on the Real Hard Tech X review database (I check every PSU I've used in builds here since learning about this site) and also looking at Newegg's customer/user reviews before buying your PSU.
