    Anyone using an EVGA 750w Supernova psu?

    for an 80 plus gold fully modular psu they look like really good value but i can't find a review for one anywhere. hoping someone on here has some experience with one. thanks

    It it based on the FSP Aurum design, which are group regulated. Voltage regulation, ripple suppression are the weak points at ~600/700W load. The original Aurums are also noisy. Whether EVGA have sorted any of these problems out will not be known until they are reviewed.
    I don't see why they wouldn't have long life spans, but I think you can get better performance for a similar price.

    I think this is a better option for the price, as it is independently regulated, has good ripple and noise suppression and is quiet:

    they're now offering a 10 year warranty with this psu. should i be keeping it that long anyway?

    Scan are selling this for £86 incl vat at the minute. Is this good value? Should I spend a few more bucks and go for a brand such as Corsair?

    Also does anyone have any actual experience of running this PSU, would like to hear your comments on the actual noise it makes.
