Modular PSU for 7950 GPU + 2500k CPU (changing to haswell equivilent on release)
As in the title; I'm using an ASUS 7950 and a 2500k, but will be changing to the Haswell equivilent when it's released which I assume will use the same 77w as the ivybridge equivilent.
Not looking to overclock (no overvolting at least) and I'm not gonna be changing my GPU, definitely no chance of crossfireX since the GPU I have barely fits in my case as it is lol. So yeah, no real need for 'future proofing' needed - Just after a good quality/high efficiency PSU for a decent price.
Has to be modular - Not fussed about hybrid or full modular but I don't want lots of spare wires that will need hiding (from my current PSU I have 2 molex chains, 1 SATA chain, 2 PCI-E chains. all unused and I'm struggling to hide them all in my mATX case (NZXT Vulcan))
I need -
1x 12+4 pin ATX
1x 4 pin CPU
3x SATA power
2x PCI-E
1x Molex (though I could easily convert a SATA cable to save on extra cables from the PSU)
Is that list possible with a hybrid modular PSU? Without too many spare cables? Or would full modular be better?
Also - What's the lowest Power level I can get away with, with my current system? I was thinking of dropping down to 650w but would even lower be possible?
Also - Any suggestions?

I'd say you can happily get away with 550w (if not less):

This 7950 system only takes 270W although without and HDDs, but that'll put you nicely in the most efficient zone.

Efficiency is pretty high across the board, but they tend to peak at around 50% load.
A couple of drives won't add much at all, you could add a lot more than that in and I doubt you'd ever exceed 400W.

550W = http://www.scan.co.uk/products/550w-...et-fan-atx-psu
630W = http://www.scan.co.uk/products/630w-...iet-fan-atx-ps
The standard HD 7950 requires 2 x 6-pin connectors (2 x 75W) plus the PCI socket (75W), give a total max power draw of 225W. The 2500k is 95W max.
So that highest you'll need is 320W, plus HDDs etc say 350-375W.
If you go Crossfire in the future, your max usage will be around 550-600W. So its only worth getting over a 550W PSU if your planning to CrossFire/SLI in the future.
The 630W BeQuite! PSU i've recommended has all the connectors (and power) you'll need to run 2 x HD 7950s.
