Re: Help With PSU Selection.
My preference is generally for Seasonic psu's, so I'd suggest this one instead:

Are you planning to upgrade to a more powerful graphics card, or is the 6750 your new one? If you're sticking with the 6750, you could probably drop to a 500-550w psu.
Re: Help With PSU Selection.
Hey mate i forgot to put the new GPU lol im getting a 7870 And cheers for the Reply i shall have a look at their PSU now
Re: Help With PSU Selection.
Ah im from the UK and the Plug on it is not for a UK socket, i did look at that earlier but a bit over budget
Re: Help With PSU Selection.
I think my wife's PC is similar spec (AMD 3 core Phenom, 6770 graphics, 2 hard drives) and has a Corsair 450W psu.
What PSU do you have at the moment?
Edit to add: Crossed posts :D
Quick look at this review shows a system with a 7870 video card pulling 310W at the wall whilst gaming.

It'll just be a three-pin 'kettle' type power lead...if you're upgrading your PSU you should already have one :) It's a bit odd that they don't supply a UK lead...I thought that by law all appliances had to be sold with one. In any case, you could always cut the incompatible plug off the lead & wire up a UK plug top, just as long as you know what you're doing of course :)

The 7870 won't be all that power-hungry...how about this one:

It's Gold rated, and you can get free delivery from Scan after 25 posts on here, I believe.

Just as an addendum, if you're looking at a 7870, you might consider this card:

Although it's described as a 7870, it's actually based on the Tahiti core or 79xx architecture, & is therefore more powerful than the usual 7870's.
