I've got the TX-850 and the AX-1200 PSUs from Corsair. I love them. Can't go wrong with a Corsair PSU.
Never had an XFX though so I can't comment.
The second one.
I have the 2013 version GS800 and its brill, no probs at all, only minor gripe is it isn't modular....
The GS range are basically the CX psu inside a more interesting looking case with an LED fan and normally cost more.
Ether should be ok, personally I'd go with the seasonic made xfx

GS are also semi-fanless. 2013 Edition means that the semi-fanless mode has been 'sorted out', as they apparently had problems with the semi-fanless mode to start with.
CX series uses DSAII, which is group regulated.
GS - 80 Plus Bronze uses PUQ-B, which is indy (DC-DC secondary). So the performance is probably better on GS, but quality is similar, IMO.
Another positive for the XFX is 5 year warranty vs 3 year for Corsair.
Ahh that's the difference, the old GS where group regulated, and where exactly the same DSA platform internals as the CX, I assumed the new one was just using the DSAII in the same way the new CX are, as I couldn't find a good review, but just found this one http://www.legitreviews.com/article/2205/4/ yes it's dc-dc, the main fan issue was that it's a noisy fan, they are still using the same fan, combined with load based fan speed control not temperature base speed control, looks like these new ones are now temperature controlled so that fan should never get up to it's loud full speed.
