Do you thinks this would be a good buy as a 80 Plus Gold Certified PSU ???
Thinking about it for my system :)

FSP is the OEM and it has a single 42A, 504w 12v rail. No reviews so can't tell you how good or bad it is. My Zalman is a FSP built unit and has been rock solid. Ideally though i would like to read a review or two before recommending something.
All the specs are good and it comes with a 5 year warranty which is above average. I wouldn't have a problem purchasing this unit myself.
Coolermaster have produced some bad supplies in the past, so I'd wait for a good review to be certain this one is from a different mould. I would ignore 'gold certification' as a primary criterion for choosing a power-supply.
Its a good PSU with like you mention 80Plus Gold certification. It has a single 12V rail, japansese solid capacitors and a two-ball bearing fan which is quite silent.
The cables are enough for a 550w with even 2x PCI-e 6+2 for good graphics cards... !
Thanks for the input, but given the OP was asking a couple of months ago one suspects they've chosen a PSU now ;) Don't suppose you managed to find any reviews of this PSU did you? On sale at £45 it could be a decent buy...
EDIT: answered my own question: http://uk.hardware.info/reviews/4869...ffordable-gold - looks like they're solid but unspectacular. That said, at £45 it's a bit of a bargain, really ;)
I don't see a reason to buy the 550W version over the 450W version, as the cable config is the same. The 550W version has the downside of being advertised as having a fan speed range of 1000-2000RPM, while the 450W version has an advertised fan speed range of 700-1450RPM.
So the 550W version is only better if:
a) there isn't a significant price difference AND
b) the extra power is required AND
c) the user won't mind the difference in noise between these two units.

To be more specific, it is based on the FSP Aurum design.
Two reviews which I have found; haven't checked for new reviews in a while.

I guess for a substantial crossfire setup 450W might be pushing it a bit tight, but since both versions only have 2 PCIe cables I guess that's not such a concern (unless you're happy to use Molex -> PCIe adapters). I hadn't noticed that ebuyer also have the 450W version on sale, it's just £35 at the minute with 240 in stock :o Got to be worth considering for anyone doing a build on a budget...
