    PSU recommendations (demanding criteria!)

So the fan is getting very noisy on my XFX due to a failing bearing. I might attempt a switch myself, but not until I have a back up supply anyway, so I'm looking for alternatives.

    I would like:

The simple stuff is a minimum 450W and two PCI-E 6+2 cables. The tricky stuff is...

-high quality caps rated at 105C
    -MTBF tested at 50C
    -non-dual bank design
    -DC-DC line provision
    -excellent efficiency at low/idle loads
-excellent cross load stability and low ripple
-high quality fan - quiet and long lasting. Fluid bearing ideal, but high quality ball bearing OK
    -variable fan speed on temp/load

    Ideal budget less than £80.

    Ta!

edit: I went for the seasonic G 550

I assume you are going to RMA the PSU?? AFAIK,Seasonic in the UK handles the XFX PSU RMAs.

I would probably look at the Seasonic G 450W and 550W:

If the fan actually fails, yes. But just for being noisy? Not a chance it would be accepted.

Thanks, will have a looksy at those in detail tomorrow.
