Re: Corsair CX750M Buzzing
When you say pressing on the sides of the case, do you mean the PSU case or the PC case?
If it's the PC case then it sounds like you've got a vibration which is being transmitted through the PC case, this isn't going to be anything RMA-able, you've just got to figure out how it's being transmitted/generated and stop it - maybe rubber isolating pads are a bad idea and you should try screwing the PSU in directly to the PC case for example.

On the sides of the PC case. Only sometimes though. The buzzing is back (at it's loudest) and it didn't affect it this time. I've gotten it to quiet down a bit by tapping the back of the PSU, but it's still there.
I'm not sure screwing the PSU directly into the case will be possible, as the PSU bay has the isolating foam glued around the edge. I'd have to take a craft knife to it to get it off, and I'd rather not do that.
It's extremely irritating to troubleshoot, as whenever I move the machine out to open the side, the buzzing quiets down again (as moving it around seems to temporarily shut it up as I mentioned before), so it's hard to see exactly what's causing it.
EDIT: Just been piddling around with it, and pressing against the PSU in certain ways makes it either better or worse. So I think you're right, there's a vibration issue somewhere. I just can't see where! I'm starting to wish I never went for a 'silent' case now.
Re: Corsair CX750M Buzzing
As an update, I loosened some screws (some people said it helps to do that when you have the sound insulation), and I think it's helped. However, it's gone permanently down to the "driving me mad trying to listen whether it's there or not" stage. At least it IS an improvement.
Anyway, thanks for the outside opinion. I wouldn't have thought in a million years it could have been vibrations being transmitted. Shows what I know!

have you checked for cables touching anything?

Many times unfortunately. I wish it were that easy. All the cables in the system are neatly cable tied and the sound never seems to be emanating from anywhere the cables lead. As I say, loosening the screws around the PSU (so the sound proofing foamy rubber gasket isn't under so much pressure) seems to have helped quiet it down for now.
