Small? I'm not so sure about that, not very well known, well that might be because they don't make many products that are aimed directly at the consumer, but chances are if you have a laptop you might find a Delta Electronics logo on the PSU that came with it, if you have a TV that's made in the far east that too might have Delta transformers or other power delivery hardware in it too.
Here's a few quick facts on Delta Electronics, I think you'll be surprised:
Products
- Power electronics: (embedded power supplies, mobile power supplies, electronics components for ICT equipment, fans and thermal management)
- Energy management: (industrial automation, telecom power systems, mission critical infrastructure, renewable energy, automotive electronics & EV charging)
- Smart green life: (networking systems, display & visualization, LED lighting, healthcare devices)
Company
- Founded in 1971
- HQ in Taipei City, Taiwan
- R&D facilities in Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, US and Europe
- 2014 Turnover $7.52 billion
- Current share price $150 down $3 (-1.96%) - as at time of posting
Re: Is delta an actual safe power supply manufacturer?
I saw they they make something about health care, could someone clarify what they make is it just the power supply for it, the entire system or what?

Super Flower are doing some seriously impressive PSUs lately and are building some of EVGA's supplies. For example take a look at this: http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php...Story&reid=440
The price is also extremely competitive at £70 from Scan.

Quite a few Antec PSUs are built by Delta, and are pretty much your only choice to get a Delta built PSU in the enthusiast consumer ATX PSU area.
