    PSU Recommendations 750w Silent Build

    Good day everyone.

I am in the process of building a new system with the Parvum Veer Chassis.

Regarding PSU, I'm looking at 750w full modular and as silent as possible. Any recommendations?

I am currently looking to order the Leadex Platinum but if you have any recommendations for a high quality PSU that is good value for money I will appreciate it. If you know of any companies that offer longer than 1 year warranty that would be cool.
    Kind Regards - Chris

And another vote from me, got this exact PSU - it's rock solid, quiet and very good value.

Re: PSU Recommendations 750w Silent Build

Another vote for the G2 750w. It's built by Superflower and is basically the Leadex Gold 750w with a different fan and no awful leds. If you want platinum go for the EVGA Supernova P2 750w which is basically the Leadex Platinum 750w with a different fan. That 10 year warranty is excellent and with EVGA having a UK rma centre now you can't really go wrong with it.

Re: PSU Recommendations 750w Silent Build

    Update!!!

Unfortunately I had to return the EVGA Supernova 750 PSU unit. The reason is I have changed my build and have decided to go for a small form factor.

I wish to use the Lian-Li PC05 as a chassis. However my issue now is what PSU unit to use as it requires an SFX.

    Can I power a GTX 980 ti on a 500w unit?

    Kind Regards - Chris

Re: PSU Recommendations 750w Silent Build

I think most of the GTX high range cards recommend minimum of 600W, look at the card specs in Scan.

This is the only 600W SFX PSU I know of:

Another vote for the EVGA G2 750w. It has eco mode so you can turn the fans off completely.
