I recently bought a Corsair AX760 PSU and a set of Corsair Type 4 Gen 4 PSU Sleeved Cable Pro Kit

If I use cables that came with the PSU it's fine but if I use the kit the PSU is dead.

My question is, if I leave everything else still plugged in and then try to bridge the loose 24pin cable to force the PSU to start, will it damage the other components still plugged in? Or do I need to unplug cables to GPU, mobo CPU etc to be safe?

It's not the end of the world if I have to but its a bit cramped and taken ages to get it all how I like it. If I can get away without doing so it'd be nice.

depends on what is wrong with your sleeved cable kit. Contact corsair and return it is the best course of action. You could ask them at the same time if they have the resources.

Do not work on the PSU if it is still plugged in live - that would be my first advice. My second advice would be to unplug all because of charge that can remain in the capacitors.

Finally, I think Millenium has the best advice, contact the manufacturer, they are the ones who should sort this while it's under warranty, or better still, if within 14 days (or sometimes one month) of purchase, they should exchange it.
