Pales into insignificance compared to the amount of people killed by Israeli state sponsored terrorism, look up a defintion of terrorism, it is one of the most maligned terms since the chimp started his attack on the rational world.Originally Posted by Skii
They are on occupied land which makes them legitimate targets, they know that, why do you think they all carry machine guns? Settlers are thieves and the worst type of scum, they were put in this situation by a very irresponsible father who knew the risk he was taking when he decided to steal someone elses property.

Not so much pales into insignificance as totally ignored, at least around here anyway.Originally Posted by Blub2k
Not ignored by me! It underlines to me the need to reach a negotiated settlement that is balanced and raises the rights of the Palestinian above that of farm animals to be herded at will. Children should not be dying for their parents principles.

Just to play devils advocate for a second.
Would you have condemned the French resistance if they had started blowing up Nazis during WWII?
The only difference is that the Israelis have been there for 40 years, not 4

Yes I do, however I see no condemnation for the Palestinian acts, hence my point.Originally Posted by Blub2k
I think the lack of balance in Israeli actions and US support is matched in the lack of criticism of Palestinian reactions, dont you?
Sort of a David and Goliath thing, David only had a stone and sling, not a big F**k off Apache gunship.

So the might of Israel and the US vs Palestine justifies no condemnation of Terrorist acts on innocent people when perpetrated by Palestinians ?
I didn't say it justifies it, but I dont consider settlers to be innocent.
It is everyones right to fight an occupier and they are occupiers.

Fight an occupier by blowing up as many innocent people as possible? I don't think so... At least the Israelis aren't targetting innocent people. Unless you count all the terrorists as innocent? Blub2k by the things you have been saying you probably would.... Also i think you can hear a helicopter gunship coming, i don't think you can hear a suicide bomber untill its too late.
