For all the shocking "OMG it's cut with horrible things, even petrol" so is everything else. Hell, the coke certain popstars have been lambasted for shoving up their nose for instance.. Petrol, diesel, brick dust, old heating oil, all key ingredients in your footballers favourite line. And that's before it gets stomped on and cut up by three different wholesalers and then your dealer with whatever they've got in the cupboard that week. Painkillers, rat poison, you name it. Even a drug like cannabis that many would see as "of the earth" and natural and fairly free of such issues isn't free at all. A few years back for example a rather large batch made it into the uk that was covered in the tiny reflective shards you see in the paint for road markings because it made the drug look of a higher quality than it actually was. Lots of people ended up in hospital with the backs of their throats shredded by hot glass basically.

How it starts out isn't much better.

People who take it in the first place generally know it's been cut with *insert random powder here* inserted up some orifice or other, and so on. I don't really consider them to be people who care a great deal about their well-being TBH. I don't think I've heard of anyone who's been abusing any substance for a length of time without destroying some part of their body or other, causing self-inflicted illnesses and leaving less of the NHS to people who are ill through no fault of their own.

As much as I'm against drugs, I'm also of the opinion that legalising would do more good than harm, plus they could be taxed to cover the inevitable treatment they will need down the line...

Don't get me wrong, I do have sympathy for the individuals in that position but the selfishness of it is somewhat angering...

Ok, serious issue, but my mind gave me an un serious thought.

If we stop prohibition on this substance, and people can buy it at the supermarket, then.

I would end up reading this expecting it to be about how its much healthier and higher quality than the stuff they buy at Iceland (or wherever the hell it is heroin addicts shop) because they use real pepper and less hydroginated fats.
