I thought we weren't arguing? I thought we were debating?

I'm not happy about the outbreak of jollity that has overtaken this thread. Time to reignite the flame war with some pedantry methinks.

NiO2 would actually be Nickel Dioxide. NO2 is Nitrogen Dioxide, which is nasty stuff, but not particularly conducive to vigourous combustion. Nitrous Oxide is actually N20. It's miraculous qualities are due to the fact that it's fairly unstable and spontaneously decompses to Nitrogen and an Oxygen free radical at 400 degrees-ish.

I think the outbreak of jollity was DUE to an excess of Nitrous Oxide..."altogether now, breathe IN...and out...breathe INNNNN....and out..." *thud*

Right lads, if we are done here, the thread can be closed, if we still have something to say (on-topic) then lets return to it.

    Cheers.
