Smuggle fake guns into Sun day.

You probably heard that after the Batman and Fox hunters security blunders The Sun has sent its people into the breach, armed to the teeth with gun shaped lighters and plasticine bombs.

This kind of thing irritates me a bit. I mean if you do try to smuggle something in at least make it an airsoft pistol - replica almost indistinguishable from the real thing. And when you get in don't just walk casually - try to shoot a minister or take someone hostage. And then when you get shot by the police we can all be happy that security is there and working well.

Anyway - i get irritated by things like that. How about someone smuggles something into the Suns offices and then writes about it. And we can all despair at how unvigilant they were - if someone really smuggled a gun into Suns offices they might've forced them to write something actually useful. Wouldn't that be tragic?

    What do you, people, think.

Yes, thanks for clearing it up. I'll edit the first post to make it clear.

I'm waiting for a Mirror reporter to pretend to be a real terrorist and infiltrate the Sun then get sent on one of their 'scam' pretend-terrorist japes but actually be a pretend-'real' terrorist.

Reminds me of was it the Sun planted lunchboxes with the word "bomb" written on paper inside them at the Athens Olympic stadium and claimed a vast security breach. The Greek security chief replied stating "Our dogs are expertly trained to sniff out explosives, but not to read"

Rofl, I had a similar thought. I mean if they have chemical detectors they may detect explosives but probably not some plasticine.

I remember GMTV scare-mongering by showing how close you could get to a landing plane at heathrow and how such a low flying plane could be such an easy target to a terrorist with a gun/portable missile launcher...

...not that you couldn't do that from pretty much every driveway and garden in the entire West Drayton, Colnbrook and Sipson areas. Perhaps they should bulid the runway out in the sea

I remember an episode of 2DTV where they had an airport completely manned by undercover journalists. Starting from bomb smuggling passengers to receptionists, security guards, pilots and sniffer dogs

I thought the show a few weeks ago on C4 i believe, where a woman got onto a plane completely unsupervised and could ahve done anything was an interesting eye opener at how easy it is to do though....
