Oh please. Did you hear Kerry last night? The guy sounded anything but sincere. I mean did you hear him trying to play catch up with Bush on faith? He sounded like a guy who felt he had to come cross as religious but really wasn't. Religious or not, I'd like to see a guy who knows where he stands and isn't ashamed of it.

He's been inconsistent in trying to maintain his 'good catholic' image whilst fighting for not only abortion but partial birth abortion and unlimited stem-cell research.

Then there's his idea about passing the global test for war, yet saying that he wont allow other nations to control his defense of the nation, and the fact that in 1990 when a large coalition was formed, he voted against it.

Honestly, the option this election doesn't seem to be Bush or Kerry, it seems to be Bush or not Bush. How people can vote on a negative is beyond me. Kerry has less spine than a wet noodle.

yeah, but your faith does not make you a good leader, no matter how arrogant you are about it, IMO Kerry is clearly not that religious but has to pretend to be in order to get religious, closed minded people to vote for him.

I wasn't arguing for his faith making him a better leader, I was arguing that Kerry's inability to be honest and straight forward - his need and desire for pretense, make him a poor choice for a leader.
