    Ghosts

OK we've had aliens, onto the next film filling theory.

The ghost! I've heard many different definitions of what they are, and if they infact exist or not, but still cant make a sturdy choice of whether they're real or not.

I saw this pic on some weird ass site, looks like a mock up job, but u know, just to get the ball rolling

About 8 years ago I thought I saw a ghost, it wasn't just a glance I watched it and it was the type of thing you'd see in a film, white old woman hoving above ground. Now I don't believe it was actually there, I just think it was my mind playing tricks on me, especially since it looked allmost identical to a ghost I'd seen in a magazine a few days before. I suppose I believe in spirits passing into another world but I don't think places get haunted by dead people.

I think its just people's paranoia and their brains trying to make sense of something they don't understand. Did anyone see that program on the loch ness monster earlier today? They put a plank of wood in the loch and bobed it up, straight away loads of tourists said, "its the monster!" and when asked to draw what they saw they started drawing heads with eyes etc. I think its similar with this, if something weird happens and you can't explain it, your brain tries to make an explaination and when it can't think of anything normal it will jump to the conclusion its something like a ghost.

Why do people always think that ghosts are white or pale or off color? There's no reason why ghost don't exist in a form that give all the appearance of 'normal'.

Anyway, my folks apartment in Hong Kong faces directly opposite a cemetry. There must be thousands of graves over in that place. When I was a little kid, it used to scare me to walk from the kitchen to my room in the dark. Was I afriad of ghosts? Or was it because it was dark? I don't know. But I think even if we did bump into ghosts, we won't know it.

Hmm, stero-typed ghosts isnt it, what about all this ectoplasm and stuff... does anyone know what that actually is ?!

I'm intrigued by what u said Slick, did it look like the thing in the mag because of the same way you described the lochness thing ?

Its all a bit weird if you ask me, there's definately more that goes on than meets the eye, just a case of what and where right ?

Isn't it meant to be the physical manifestation of paranormal or phsycic activity?

or is that just a load of made up crap?

I saw a ghost once, but I was on acid at the time, so I guess it doesn't count :/
