Oh I forgot- he's apparently 'desperately sorry' that the Met (apparently ) popped 7 bullets into the head of an innocent Brazilian. Well guess who, out of trainful of approximately 500 people, got searched at Blackfriars this morning? That would be me. The reason: I was carrying my shirt rather than wearing it, hence walking topless (because I was hot).

So, the one person on that entire train who very obviously didn't have a bomb belt round his waist was the one who got stopped. GENIUS DEDUCTION GUYS. Glad I'm paying your wages.

To alleviate my fears as they searched me, Copper No1 said to me: "Now I'm sure you're as English as me sir, but...."

......so what is the implication there? If I hadn't had white skin, I wouldn't be as English as him? Racist much?

Meh, I've known the world was this screwed up since before I started grade school. It's plainly obvious to anyone who pays any sort of attention to what goes on around them. Things won't change, not for the better anyway.

I can't believe how incompetent the yanks have been in Iraq regarding the policing of that country. Those in authority have very little respect for other people and their dignity, whether it be Iraq or the US - go through US customs and you'll see what I mean

As for being stopped on the tube you must remember that police are under lots of pressure to show that they are not just stopping black/asian muslims with rucksacks. Cos after all that would be racist to do that [sarcasm]. Bit like Mike Tyson commiting a crime and then putting out a photofit picture of Tom Cruise. I agree it was a waist (no pun intended) of time. Congratulations on being the token white man/old lady/etc. Blame all the people putting pressure on the police to be "inclusive" rather than do their job. All though I do think that copper No1 opening line is extremely poor and shows bad training/briefing. I certainly would have told him politely that it was inappropriate.
