    Yep

if anyone gets mouse movement glitches then a USB extension cable will resolve it. I think my mousemat and thick desk were causing the cursor to skip but an extension cable from belkin off play.com sorted it, the cable has blue leds too so looks neat lighting up the side of the desk

Re: Logitech MX Revolution (I have a MX1000 too)

I use an MX revolution on my main computer. I have to say I love this mouse, despite the fact that I'm on my 4th or 5th one now (I lost count).

I've had technical problems with this mouse over and over. A common problem that 2 of mine went RMA'd for was an issue with the microswitches inside the mouse. The wear out early, that occasionally would cause a double click to be sent to the computer instead of a single click. Believe me, it is extremely irritating. Another problem is the wheel wears out too. After a few months I found its spin was nowhere near as fluid as when I first got it. it stopped early when scrolling a long document, whereas previously it could scroll much further in one spin. These two problems are quite common - you can google to find others with these problems.

But still, I love this mouse. It feels great. It fits in my hands nicely and I like its weight (not something everyone would like I suppose). Definitely recommend it, but buy it from a shop that would give you warranty, because you might have issues.

Re: Logitech MX Revolution (I have a MX1000 too)

I bought one for my laptop about 5 years ago and now use it with my desktop. It's worked fine since then. The battery still lasts a good three days of heavy usage between recharges. Easily the best mouse I have owned.

    Holy bump!

I've since upgraded twice, to Performance MX and now G700 and each one has been a bump in performance and features but yep, the MX Rev still has its place.
