    Cm haf 922

After owning the case for about a month I can say it was definitely a good investment. I paid ~£80 from scan (today only) after deciding that the HAF X was frankly unnecessary. Although I have a fairly old system and clearly any case should provide adequate cooling it has vastly exceeded my expectations. Building in it was simple and all of my wires are behind the motherboard tray( except the ridiculously large IDE Cable) keeping the case tidy. I comes with one 120mm and two 200mm fans (front intake and top) but I decided to move the top fan to the side vent due to my CPU maxing out at about 35C. The 200mm fans are almost silent during normal use but are very powerful. My (admittedly low power) GpU ran at 70c without the fan directed onto it. Now with the fan on its lowest speed it maxes at 40 in Furmark. To conclude- quiet, cool, efficient and good looking IMO.

    Pros:
    Good cooling
Comes with 3 fans pre installed
    Quiet
Cheaper than other alternatives (Antec 902)

    Con:
No dust filter so in a few months it may need a spring clean

    9.5/10

    Re: Cm haf 922

Im torn between this case and the Haf-X to replace /update my current Antec900 case from 2007/2008, which with my antec case my only complaint is its a vacuum cleaner for dust, and what appeals to me is the filters inthe HAF-X.

If i can get sames results with Haf 922 with aftermarket filters or homemade filters i might purchase that case, if its not that much cheaper and less hassle i'll prolly opt for the Haf-x

The HAF X is overkill unless you want about 4 GPUs and 4 HDD/SSDs. 922 is still pretty big-sold as mid tower but it really isn't.
