Bare with me; due to my shift pattern at work it leaves me with very little time to do other stuff, plus when family members drop stuff off and say fix it this puts a spanner in the works along with everything else.

Psst, I can make our your address from the first picture. You should consider blurring it out or covering it over with something in paint :P

I really enjoyed your unboxing pics and crave for more ;) What's the monkey's name and how will he call his new PC? Cheers!

His name is Monkey :D
Machine is now built and running in it's new home; benchmarks will have to be done again.
Why you might ask.... Well if you looked at my thread in the help section you will see i suffed a disk crash that i am still recovering from (680gb recovered so far).

Thoughts so far:
The case I got (Silverstone TJ08B-E) to me feels cheap, while some of the ideas are sound they could have polished it off.
I am running the SSD off of a SATA 3Gbps port and i really can not tell the difference between it and the Kingston V200 SSD that i have in this laptop (running on a SATA I port :p) - well not in the install which drum roll please took all of 9mins 56secs from first boot screen to having useable desktop.
The stock fan they provide with the CPU has a ticking noise that that you can pick out over everything else in this case.
The build was pretty painless but i need to work on the cable routing; the case looks a mess but thats for another day for when i move the bits from my current rig over to it and i embark on a slight upgrade ;)
Right now the rig isn't doing much other then sitting pretty, only time will tell if this APU is a match for my old Q6600 but from right now (fresh install remember) everything is very nippy; now part of that will be down to the SSD and the other will be the fresh os install so it could be very different story as time goes on.
The real test of this IMHO is when i start to throw "real world tests" at it; benchmarks only tell part of the story.
More pictures and updated pictures to follow later :)
