Overclockers Rant!

So I ordered a DFI mobo yesterday for next day delivery and was promised delivery to my work place. I phone today to just check it was all ok and I get some brainless monkey on the other end urmming and arrring finding my order then tells me "oh itys out if stock, we wont be getting that back in"!

No email sent to me to tell me this. So I have sent a VERY strongly worded mail to them telling them how useless they are and how I will never be buying from them again!

Two orders and two mess up's! Rubbish

Overclockers.co.uk lol. STAY AWAY. Well im sure people have been fine wiht them but it pissed me off. Was looking forward to my upgrade

I feel stupid......I placed 3 orders with them and they messed all 3 up before I learnt my lesson

Haven't ordered from them in 2.5 years though, I keep thinking "surely they have gotten better.." but apparently they haven't.


Its about time they were added to the Hexus.Trust page as well. I find it infurriating that just about every UK computer retailer is on that list but OcUK are not.

Dealt with them once, ages and ages ago. Never bothered again.

Yes, and I wondered why? Are they really that bad as everyone says? I got my first order(graphic card) delivered next day with one of the best packaging.

hit or miss, imo is the worst kind of company because you dont know if it will come good broken, come at all, in stock, forget them from now on, just annoys me scan only stock a few brands of ram, and dont stock dfi.

well i must say i have had equally good service from other companies as well as scan, and the thing that annoys me about scan is the ram selection . bar that top company, if i hadnt got direct access to the guys here about things then i wouldnt rate them as highly. but they do a great job.

overclockers have a really nice ewbsite its great for rowsing products just not to buy them lol.

Yer, Its a very well layed out website wiht a good range but there delivery sucks big hary whatsists. I ordered it from microdirect now for a tiny bit more but at leat it should turn up!

How come more places dont stock DFI and larger RAM selections. I am finding myself really restricted wiht some sites.

Hmmm, that makes me wonder about the integrity of Hexus....

The trust system is there for the hexus members to share experiences with each other, to stop us doing that for 1 company seems a complete mockery of the whole Hexus.Trust system.
