Re: Dell Upgrade - GPU/CPU/PSU upgrade?
Okey Dokey, thanks for the heads up. Wish the sellers would be a little clearer on this... at least I don't use any molex so they will be put to good use.
On a related note see http://www.scan.co.uk/products/500w-...an-atx-v23-psu and http://www.scan.co.uk/products/500w-...24x7-use-ready! - seemingly same product, different price?!

Going by manufacturer code, the cheaper one appears to be "bulk" - presumably it's an OEM in plainer packaging and possibly lacking some documentation or extras compared to the - more expensive - retail version. That's just a guess, mind you ;)
Re: Dell Upgrade - GPU/CPU/PSU upgrade?
Chap on the phone at scan said the more expensive one is defunct and shouldn't be there any more. he had no comment on the "bulk" comment. go figure :D

Yes, Cats right, unfortunately. You can however do what I did (when I was caught out by this) and buy a molex to PCI-E converter cable. They're only about £2/3.
