Looks reasonably solid to me,although maybe a larger PSU if you want a dual card setup and maybe also consider the GTX780 or R9 290 too if they are a good price.

If you are not overclocking I would consider the Xeon E3 1230 V3.

Also, they RM series aren't very well built compared to the competition. I much prefer the EVGA range of PSUs at the moment (better reviews, nicer cables etc

I'm not really bothered about SLI to be honest. I just chose the mobo because it was like £2 more expensive than the ASRock Z97 Pro4 I was planning on buying and it had better rear IO.

Also, I heard that the RM550 is a solid PSU. What do you think is wrong with it?

Nothing wrong with it, per se, just not as good as the competition. Don't get me wrong, it's still going to be mighty good, and for the price it's still really good.

Semi passive PSU so would do good. Also your chosen PSU apparently got Chinese capacitors. Cooler Master V semi modular 550W is similar but uses Japanese capacitors instead.

Looks pretty good to me. You may want to get a larger power supply if you are going to overclock.
