    Build complete - last check

Finally decided on a build, in addition to this in the future will be a 1070 graphics card (or 980ti depending on prices). And an m.2 pcie 4 hdd.

Case not required and fans will be bought elsewhere once I've done some measuring and further destruction of my custom case!

I just want to make sure it will all work together and give me decent fps in games (battlefield and racing are the main types) and I haven't added something that is notoriously rubbish.

Edit: forgot to say one of the 1tb hdd will be temporarily used in the ps4.

    Cheers

    Windows 10?

760W seems rather overkill unless you intend to SLI at some point.

I run a cheapish (£180) graphics card into a £400 monitor and it works very well, if you spend all that on a graphics card and are locked to 75Hz on a cheap 1080p monitor that seems a shame.

yup you really want a 144Hz Monitor AOC does a cheap one to use with a decent graphics card like the 1070 which would be better for the long run, you'll see the most difference in FPS games like battlefield for sure. Not sure why you going for Windows 10, Cant you use Win7 and upgrade to 10, Put that Hdd into new system, load new drivers, once its working ok, Do the Clean re-install of Windows 10. otherwise good system

Cheers guys, I already have 2 copies of Windows 7, one has already been upgraded to Windows 10 so I could steal that and save some money.

    I'll change the monitors. Cheers!

Remember to check the Freesync monitors out as well as the plain fast ones.

Cheers I went for the AOC one x2 as all others were well and truly out of budget. Got Friday next week off so having it all delivered then.

    This one:

    Cheers!

I dropped one of the 1tb hard drive, Windows 10 and the disc drive to make up a bit of the cost. I have a dvd drive so no current urgent need for the bluray one.

Edit - 760 as I don't want to have to replace it for a long time and hopefully eventually run 2x 1070
