I did not include prices because it was purchased a few weeks ago and the prices may have changed, plus the whole build was picked, ordered and built in basically under a week so things were a tiny bit rushed. However, what do you think? Any parts you see there that is overkill or not matching? Conflicting? Feel free. :)

Need more storage!
Otherwise good. Monitor is a bit low-res for the size for me, but if they are distant from the screen then it's OK.

Considering the GTX 1070Ti, that 240Hz panel will have issues in most games aside from the "easy to run", just because of the lack of G-Sync.
Can you stretch the budget to a G-Sync panel? And possibly even a 1440p at that?
I use an ASUS ROG PG279Q, it's beautiful! IPS, 165Hz, 1440p, 27", G-Sync, HDR. 10/10 Would recommend.

Yeah, I struggle to live with a 500GB SSD. I would say NVMe is a luxury which if dispensed with you could have had 500GB of SATA SSD for the same money. That way you wouldn't save 0.5s loading a game, but you would save half an hour uninstalling and reinstalling games because you are out of space!

I suspect it will be fine. Turn on V-sync, you get 4ms worst case before the next frame which I think most people can tolerate.
... or it could have had a Vega GPU instead.
Another edit: If you have space for a 27", I think 2560x1440 is the way to go. You can't do 240Hz at that rez, but 144Hz is hardly slumming it.

Is more storage being added??
Re: i7-8700K/Z370 AORUS ULTRA GAMING 2.0 Gaming Build (£1600 range)
Hi guys, sorry for the late response.
The storage is definitely being added. The idea was to wait out for a good SSD deal and hence just buy the evo for speed and by the time it's reaching full there would be an SSD at hand. Considering he plays only a few select games, it's not critical and so gives room for other parts of the build. Also a 1TB HDD could be added as he had it spare.
As for the monitor, the build was done a few weeks ago, before the announcement of new monitors and so I was under the impression that instead of splashing out hard on the top of the line monitor, spend just around £250 for the monitor on the list then when we get some HDR standards with 4k or 1440 resolution with of course decent prices, it would be worth it to upgrade the monitor and the graphics card properly, sorry I forgot to mention the 1070 Ti was already purchased before hand.
I knew the 1070 Ti would struggle at anything higher, so the choice of monitor was budget and I think that price it's a great deal. Considering his main game is Fortnite, i think it reaches 140 fps, easy.

I also have the similar setup, but unlike you I have purchased from Ant PC aka system integrator in my country. I opted for 512 GB of M.2 NVMe 970 by Samsung. Also, since Be Quiet is not available in my country so I opted for CM ML240L which is quite a performer. Again for PSU I opted for V750 by CM. Rest all is same.
Why not share some build images??
