    Compatibility

    Could someone confirm that the the following are compatible with each other?

    Which says the mobo might not work without a BIOS update.
    Unfortunately PC Partpicker do not provide direct links to the manufacturer, unlike Skinflint/Geizhals:

    But either way, going to Gigabyte's site:

    it states that the 9400F needs BIOS revision F13 onwards. Which also says that BIOS is from the Ides of last march (2019-03-15), and that there is an even more recent one from June. All of which still doesn't guarantee that any current stock is F13+ though.
    Gigabyte also have a memory support list for that board but it's dated April 2018 so unsure if that's useful and that implies they certainly didn't test with a 9400F.

    Of course the obvious first question is why the i5-9400F as the Ryzen 5 3600 is cheaper and beats the at most things:
