    GTX460 Overheating

Hi there wanted to start by saying how pleased i am with the build quality and speed of my 3XS system now that it has bedded in nicely.
The problem I am having is that the EVGA GTX460 1Gb installed in the system is running at horrendous temps when under load. On idle it is around the 45 degree mark but as soon as any application starts, from web browser to games the temp starts to rise rapidly. In games the temperature will hit 96 degrees within a minute, along with an extremely loud fan sound as it tries to subdue the heat.
I have looked on the EVGA site and it would seem that this is a fairly common problem with some of their cards.
Should I RMA this card to you to see if it is actually faulty? as it is really starting to bite me that it gets this hot and loud.
Any and all help is appreciated.

Build number for my system is/was 31267.

    Hi Gibbo1650

I can generate an RMA and canl email this to you as soon as I have your details, we can collect the card and send a warranty replacement out the following day if thats ok with you?

We are having some updates to our build database at the moment so I cant get your details, if you want to email your invoice and name to systemsupport@scan.co.uk I will look into this for you

    Regards
