3xS Edge Intel Core i7 2600k OC bundle bsod

So I've had the bundle since August time but since then I have been having bsod errors, the bundle has even been back to Scan via RMA and I was told the board was replaced, to which I thought "Oh maybe the board was faulty" but upon recieving it back I had to wait a few days until my new PSU arrived, which it did on Thursday the 10th of this month. Now after possible an hour or two whilst running the board with the OC activated I got another BSOD the same as before. I've been using an app/software called WhoCrashed which reads the dump files and tells you what is happening, I'll list all the ones available from the software's database just now,

Now I have tried numerous things in the PC since buying this bundle and encountering this problem, changing the GPUs (switching between 2 XFX 5570s & the onboard gpu), used another hdd, reformatted, bought a new OS, replaced the case and psu, none of this is working and I am getting very frustrated as no one seems to be able to help me with this issue, not saying Scan hasn't been helpful I cannot fault their customer service one bit but nothing I've tried has stopped this issue. It is now getting to the point where it's upsetting to have spent so much money and not have something work how it was intended, please can some one help me?

Oh and I also tried to overclock using the board's(An Asus P8z68-V Pro) pre determined OC facility too, and I still got a BSOD.

Re: 3xS Edge Intel Core i7 2600k OC bundle bsod

As every dump file mentions that a 'Thermal Issue' which might have caused the 'Hardware problem' do you still get the bsod's when not running overclocked?

No it works fine without the OC and can run overnight with it off. Also I have never seen the temps go above 45 degrees.

Here is the newest error after a full re-install using the latest drivers for the board from Asus' own website.

A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this system error. It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver: Unknown .
    Google query: Unknown WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR

Re: 3xS Edge Intel Core i7 2600k OC bundle bsod

Should I update the bios as the one on the board is really out of date?

Re: 3xS Edge Intel Core i7 2600k OC bundle bsod

I would, it may well solve the problem, but if it dosn't its one more thing to rule off the list I would contact scan first though as it will wipe out the overclock profile.

Re: 3xS Edge Intel Core i7 2600k OC bundle bsod

Okay spoke to Michael W at Scan, bios updated, OC re-did, currently testing with Prime95. How long should I leave it on Prime, had it on since 10:30-11:30 am this morning already.

Also on a side note can the fan on the BeQuiet cooler on this bundle be replaced with http://www.scan.co.uk/products/120mm...m-cooling-fan?
