I have been enjoying my OC Vengeance for the last 8 months with the occasional lock and then blue screen mentioning hardware problem 0000000124 i think. happened again Thursday with blue screen of death now no boot and does not detect SSD in BIOS which was my Boot device I am now stuck with a lovely paperweight. I have tried phoning tec desk but it rings out then askes me to leave a message. Do I need to return possibly the whole system or just the SSD.

Many thanks Ben, one question how do I get the OS back on as no disks were shipped with the System. I will send the drive only and not my modular power lead and sata is that ok.

If you didnt purchase the OS with the system you will have to use the OS disk you originally used

Windows 7 was pre installed as oem and no disks came with system?

Please check your motherboard box, we always provide the installation media with all of our systems.

Received my ssd today thank you. Have done install and put the Vertex 3 on a 6gps port on board, all good apart from now my Samsung does not show in My Computer but there as a SATA device on boot any ideas, regards and many thanks for the good RMA.

It sounds asthough the drive needs to be initialised. (If the drive has data on please don't initialize it)
Is the Samsung drive new, or does it have any data on?

If it has data on, is it in a RAID array?

Sounds like the samsung may need a drive letter allocated

Thanks guys the drive is the original storage drive used before my ssd died and had to be replaced tonight and a full w7 fresh installed on the ssd. i was given the choice which drive to load w7 on and put it on ssd leaving the hdd clean. i might try unplugging hdd tomorrow and replugging to see ifthat forces it to be seen many thanks i cant see the thank you button to click

All fixed. Drive letter now assigned thank you for your help. I will not redo a PC when tired next time
