Yes that shows what speed it is overclocked to.

What does Intel control centre and rapid storage do you get on disk with the MB, there it says it is at the std ghz, what else is it for?

I've briefly looked at it and it seems to be geared towards SSD management but I'll have a proper look over the weekend and let you know/

Got to concentrate on the 'day job' for a few hours so catch you later.

Had a look and in my config at least it only shows info about the drive, no config options at all.

Probably best to get rid if you are not interested in such info.

Re: Here we go, 3 new towers, 1 bundle

I'm all gigabit now but I could of saved buying the Netgear N900 router, you don't need it, I could of just bought a GB switch and if I wanted a router just have any type come off that, as long as you don't need to go into then out of the router in your network you don't need a GB one, 5e cables are GB but I had one that wasn't working properly as in no green light on GB switch, just orange, changed it for a new one, done job. You can put the router anywhere on your network too, my network now is modem, to GB switch which does all pc's in my business, then over to the house to another GB switch which serves a pc in the double garage running our cnc router, then from there another 30m cable to the N900, then from there to pc downstairs in house which is GB connected to business. The N900 is GB but is rubbish at giving a good wireless signal, my old Belkin with 3 external aerials whoops that and my last Belkin N750, so tech has moved forwards a bit in terms of software, wireless coverage has gone way backwards, waste of time and money in the end, could of just bought GB switches, had my donkeys years old router come off of one of those to give wireless, done job. It is true your network is only as fast as the slowest tech it go's through, but if you don't go through it, it doesn't matter, so you could have non GB router, non GB pc's, but still have a GB network for everything else, one of the pc's is not GB, but as that gets it's connection off a switch it doesn't slow anything else down, so the 'it's only as quick as the slowest tech' doesn't really mean exactly that. What a skull crusher getting to the bottom of all that it was, and expensive too.
