    Windows 10 Upgrade

    Hi

I recently bought a new pc and have downloaded the windows 10 upgrade to upgrade the 8.1 installation but when I go to install it says:

windows can't be installed because this pc has an unsupported disk layout of UEFI firmware.

How do I go about getting windows 10 to install on this system?

    Thanks
    Jon

    Re: Windows 10 Upgrade

For any Scan customers with a similar problem. The problem seemed to stem from the file system on the sm951 hard drive. After troubleshooting with Microsoft after virtually no contact from scan on the issue I eventually reformatted the drive to GPT and then installed windows 10 which MS support then activated for me. This took many hours on the line to MS support.
