Hi Andy, I like your spec and the photos go a long way to demonstrate Scan's work. Can you tell me if, by "single card" do you mean the 1GB XFX GTX 285 Black occupies one slot space (so it does not block one of the PCI slots). From the photo it looks like it occupies two slot spaces. Also, does the Antec P182 have a flat top - pictures I've seen elsewhere look like there's something like an ugly vent sticking up at the back. Yours looks flat from the pictures.

The pictures answer the questions regarding the Graphics card taking up 1 slot or 2. However perhaps 1 of the Scan guys can answer for sure. The machine is now firmly in place beneath my desk and in use.

Glad to say that since changing the power settings there have been no repeats of yesterday's drama

The top is totally flat - but there is a fan at the back. It's very simple and VERY elegant.

Also last night, after extended use - the fans on the 285 kicked in big time for a while and for the first time I could actually tell it was on. Lol.

One bad point on my KVM switch. It's so close to being perfect (really it's that good) but it will NOT support the G15 keyboard. So I'm forced to either run 2 keyboards direct to each PC (as I am doing now) or use a single "normal" keyboard and lose the extra functions.
