    Packaging question for Scan

Now that the PC has arrived. All in 1 peice. Been install. All works.... Can I throw away all the packaging that it came in ? It takes up a load of space and the system is covered by an on-site warrantee.

    Thanks.

    Re: Packaging question for Scan

If you throw away the system box & packaging and the computer has to come back to Scan (watercooled systems mainly) - you will need to purchase a new box for shipping. My advice is to flat pack it and put it under your bed or behind wardrobes. It's unlikely you will need it but it's best to be ready for a worst case scenario.

Some scenarios an onsite engineer may not be able to carry out the work dependant upon the issue and this is where your box will come in handy!

    Re: Packaging question for Scan

Surely if the onsite engineer can't fix my system it's his issue to sort out packaging.

The box may flat pack, but the packaging inside won't.

    Re: Packaging question for Scan

    Hi Andy14

We advise you flat pack the box and keep the packaging.

Systems if they need to come back have to come back in our packaging, if you throw it away and the system needs to be returned we can supply packaging but have to charge a small fee for this
