    Re: Hmm Questions i think

Shall have to check with system build about this one tomorrow for you.

The spec for the Triad is built around the chassis, in particular space for radiators and other WC components so it may have to be re-jigged a little if we can offer WC in that particular chassis.

I'll be on the case in the morning

First of all ur thoughts, does it need a soundcard or not? I had a Asus Ramage and the sound was alright. No complanits and i been using the onboard one on my EVGA so maybe we can drop the soundcard if ya think it isnt needed.

Second Raid 0 on the 2 500gig hdds? Is it gonna be worth it or should i just drop it and got with a 300gig raptor? I got 2 150gig rapotors in current PC ... there pretty noisy. But its pretty much a ego boost eh. I'm just tryin to get the proformance and price ratio right. And speed to space ratio. I just dont know. I had this problem with i was gettin my 150 raptors, will i notice the speed? Ok i could of had a 500gig but these raptors are fast and with raid+0 they got to be quick but i dont know if am noticing a diffence ... opinon?

I think thats mostly it. I just need a beast of a computer and with the new D0 step on the 920 i cant wait to sink my teeth in to it. I've seen 4ghz on air ..... AIR I MEAN HOW HOT WILL THAT BE RUNNIGN!!!!! lol so on water it should be better.

OH forgot .... ya think i need a fan controler, like on my Alienware ALX i got a pretty simple fan controller for the fans on the rad. You think i need one?

I never had to think so much. When i build the system in my alienware and the oens before that i was quite happy just sendin my cash at it but now asm gettin poor i need to watch my crazy spending lol. But am fed up building my own and having the problems of gettin it to work ... not like i have much problems i just like the idea of blaming someone else instead of me this time lol.

So in the end is it doable, price and the questions about the soundcard, hdds and fan controler ... hope to hear from u's soon. Need a pc very soon before this one brusts in to flames! XD

    Re: Hmm Questions i think

Sorry mate i think both those cases are a bit air! Agree that the TJ09 aint to cool but its so much better than the plastic cosmos case. Silverstone cases are so well made mate, get the feeling from screen shots of the cosmos that its cheap and plasticy! I maybe wrong but i suggest u look at the some of the pictures in the forum at the top of the page.

I like the antec 1200, TJ07, Raven. Hope this helps with your desision, but whatever u get the scan systems allways rock!

    Re: Hmm Questions i think

I know what ya mean dude. Am not a big cosmos fan, i prefer Lan Li my self, but the one i wanted was a bit priccy. But i had some ideas in the future for the cosmos case after a year or so.

The Raven looks cool but i dont want a system with a door on it.
